As a worship minister, songwriting, composing, and music recording is an enjoyable and treasured experience. The privilege of living in two different cultures brings a unique texture to Lilian’s approach to worship and gospel music. She combines contemporary and African traditional styles in her worship leading experiences, which as a result ushers people of diverse backgrounds into God’s presence.
During the course of her life, Lilian has been inspired by the worship ministries of Yolanda Adams, Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Hellen Baylor, and Hellen Akoth.
Along with her sisters Olivia Odera and Dorothy Roes, Dr. Lil enjoys making spiritual music that culminates into intimate worship experiences. Together the Odera sisters continue their dedication to celebrating the sovereignty of God through worship music.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
